Centering the program is Igor Stravinsky’s monumental Le sacre du printemps (The Rite of Spring), infamous for its avant-garde music and ballet choreography. A lighter take on the season is Lili Boulanger’s vivacious yet introspective D’un matin de printemps (Of a Spring Morning). Richard Strauss’s Don Juan, Op. 20 depicts the legendary ill-fated bachelor.
