Driven by unbridled curiosity, conductor Timothy Myers conducts a work of musical jokes, Beethoven’s 2nd Symphony, and the first sign that Beethoven would become a rule breaker. Lyricism rounds out the program with Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 and Carlos Simon’s Fate Now Conquers.
