Bruce Hornsby rose to prominence with The Way It Is, his 1986 Grammy-winning debut album with The Range. An avid collaborator who has work with everyone from Bob Dylan to Bon Iver and from Stevie Nicks to Bonnie Raitt, Hornsby was also a part-time member of the Grateful Dead from September 1990 to March 1992, performing in over 100 concerts.
