For our final program, Maestro Haimor has chosen Valerie Coleman’s anthem of unity Umoja to begin, followed by the return of Bay Area native and Marin favorite, cellist Oliver Herbert, performing Shostakovich’s virtuosic and exciting Cello Concerto No.1. We close our season with Dvořák’s optimistic, triumphant Eighth Symphony.

Our Marin Symphony Chorus is featured in what has been described as “arguably Haydn’s greatest single composition.” They’re joined by vocal soloists and an all-star instrumental ensemble, all under the direction of Chorus Director Kevin Fox.
