Giacomo Puccini's Turandot blows out a hundred candles. It’s time to celebrate its first century of life with the fairytale setting born from the imagination of Franco Zeffirelli: a record-breaking Arena production, with costumes created by the Oscar-winning designer, Emi Wada.

On October 18, the historic Academy of Agriculture, Sciences and Letters will open its doors to host works for wind ensembles: twelve performers will perform Dvořák's Serenade, Op. 44, a masterpiece of the genre, alongside two rarities: Gounod's Little Symphony for Wind Instruments and Nielsen's Serenade "in vano."

The final symphonic event of 2026 sees the long-awaited return to the podium of Dmitri Jurowski, who leads the Arena Foundation Orchestra in two premiere performances in over half a century of activity at the Teatro Filarmonico. The experimental and haunting Serenade No. 2 for Small Orchestra continues the complete Brahms symphonic music program, alongside Hummel's famous Trumpet Concerto, a signature piece by acclaimed soloist Sergei Nakaryakov.

On November 8th, Musei in Musica will reach beyond the walls of beautiful Verona, to Villafranca in the spaces of the Nicolis Museum of Automobiles, Technology and Mechanics, with key 19th-century string quartets, including Beethoven's Fourth and Schubert's celebrated "Death and the Maiden."

The Dreamers is a 2003 film directed by Bernardo Bertolucci. The film, set in the spring of 1968, is based on the short story "The Holy Innocents " by Gilbert Adair, who also wrote the screenplay for Eva Green's film debut.
