Mark Padmore tenor; Jonathan Biss piano
More details
Mark Padmore’s duo partnership with Jonathan Biss, hailed by Opera Today for its ‘astonishing insight and artistry’, grows from a shared desire to penetrate beneath the surface sheen of whatever they perform to reveal deep undercurrents of emotions and expressive contrasts. Their creative daring and sensitivity to poetic texts are matched to this carefully curated selection of songs by Schubert and Robert Schumann.
