The Little Opera Theatre Of NY

The iconic story of Cathy and Heathcliff whose bond in
childhood grows into an unbreakable love. American
composer Carlisle Floyd’s setting of the story has not been
seen in NYC since its premiere in 1959. The production is
being presented as part of the nationwide celebration of
the composer's centennial.

Wuthering Heights

Looking back on our fall concert at Socrates Sculpture Park 'American Opera Scenes, a concert for 9/11' which featured the music of William Grant Still, Virgil Thomson, and Carlisle Floyd; with words by Langston Hughes, Verna Arvey, and Gertrude Stein.

The ensemble featured Phillip Bullock, Adrienne Danrich , Edwin Jhamaal Davis, Brooke Larimer, Jennifer Moore, David Morgans, and  Andrew Richardson.
