Are you a theatre maker or creative? Are you looking to network, gain experience and practice your craft? If so we would love to invite you to this fantastic opportunity to get involved in our scratch night! For the next scratch night we are specifically looking for Global Majority creatives; more info on shows and casting to come once the selection process is complete.

Each selected writer will pitch their short play then open the floor for your questions so you can learn more about the pieces that have been chosen.

A networking event for Global Majority Artists to connect our selected writers with actors and directors to cast for their pieces being showcased in our upcoming scratch night at Deptford Lounge in October.

2026 marks 10 years of London-based club-night Deptford Northern Soul Club. Childhood friends Will Foot and Lewis Henderson, whose early love of soul developed after discovering Lewis’ Dad’s record collection, started DNSC a decade ago at Deptford’s Bunker Club in South East London.
