Xóchitl, a young Mexican woman, travels to Venice to get married. But her encounter with a mysterious man claiming to be the Mexican emperor Moctezuma transforms her stay into a journey suspended between dream and reality. During the night, troubled by ancestral spirits, carnival celebrations, and a violent storm, she must choose between the weight of the past and the freedom to build her own future.
