A wind quintet is like a sonic paintbox – a riot of fresh, bright colours, just waiting for a composer with a sense of fun to come and play with them. Five CBSO wind players dive straight in today, with a globetrotting programme that dances from the plains of Hungary to the streets and dancehalls of Cuba. Bossa nova comes to Brum!
