“Hallo, hallo! De lytter til Kringkastingsselskapet A/S!” The 17-piece ensemble The Jazzistocrats – “Tigerstaden's syncopated lowbrow nobility” – aims to make you believe you are sitting inside an old radio from the early days of Norwegian broadcasting in the second half of the 1920s. Using instruments from that period, they recreate 1920s jazz and popular music exactly as it sounded at the time.
