What started as a jam between friends has become one of Norway's favorite jazz groups. Since the band's formation, Flukten has played a number of concerts in and outside Norway, and for their 2021 debut album "Velkommen håp" they won the Spellemannspris in the jazz category. In 2024 they release their highly anticipated self-titled second album "Flukten," and in September 2024 they go on tour with no fewer than 10 concerts in Agder, Vestfold and Telemark.
