The Fryland - Jensen - Schmitz - Knold quartet was formed out of a shared love of 1960s American hard bop: Duke Pearson, Horace Silver and others. The band takes audiences on an improvised journey through some of hard bop's best-kept gems. The group can be heard for the first time, in Aalborg, at Jazzcentret on this evening.
