Celebrate L.A.’s finest jazz musicians with Jazz at LACMA, presented Friday evenings from April to November. This week, join us for a concert with the Matt Gordy JazzTonite Sextet. After a successful 40-year career, Matt Gordy has released his second album, Be With Me, a showcase for Gordy’s considerable talents as a drummer, arranger, and composer. Gordy's diverse career has included performances and tours with Tony Bennett, Joni Mitchell, Aretha Franklin, Jaki Byard, the Boston Symphony, and Orquesta Sinfonica de Maracaibo.
