The Fabulous Thunderbirds have been an ace Texas blues band since 1974. The original line-up included Kim Wilson on vocals and harmonica and Jimmie Vaughan on guitars. After Jimmie’s younger brother Stevie Ray passed away, Jimmie left the Thunderbirds to pursue a solo career. Kim soldiered on and still fronts the band today.
