The Painkillers Blues Band has provided the blues for Central Illinois audiences for more than 20 years. They play a mix of Chicago blues, Southern blues, and swing blues, with both traditional and original songs. Some of the major blues influences on the band come from Koko Taylor, Jimmy Reed, Muddy Waters, Etta James, Charlie Musselwhite, T-Bone Walker, Louis Jordan, and the Doors.
