Esteemed guest conductor Alasdair Neale takes us on a musical journey through the Golden Age of Europe with the sumptuous music of Richard Strauss and Maurice Ravel. We’ll be swept away by the magical waltzes from Strauss’s Der Rosenkavalier and Ravel’s Valse nobles and sentimentales. Strauss’s glorious first horn concerto brings the world-class virtuosity of our own principal horn player, Jon Gustely, to the spotlight.
