What better way to open our season than with the trumpet? Renowned on six continents, Norwegian soloist Tine Thing Helseth performs Tomasi’s formidable Trumpet Concerto with her signature lyricism and warmth. The concert opens with Rimsky-Korsakov’s blazing Russian Easter Overture and is capped by Schumann’s sunny Symphony No. 3, ending in triumphant fanfares for brass.
