On this special afternoon we welcome a professional wind orchestra for the first time , which is unique. And it's not just one. The orchestra Musique Militaire Grand-ducale de Luxembourg, led by their conductor Jean-Claude Braun, is considered one of the very best in Europe.

Our country also has a very rich tradition of concert orchestras from which many international top soloists have grown. We can also introduce you to some of these top soloists, including bassoonist Jappe Dendievel . Glenn Van Looy is the best euphonium player we have ever known; he is currently achieving great heights in Switzerland. But Tim de Maeseneer is also a top musician who travels the world to give master classes and solo concerts. At our festival he will perform a new work by fellow countryman Jan Van der Roost.

In this performance we combine local talent with a great orchestra from just across the border. Immerse yourself in the beautiful color palette of a concert band.
