The most famous piano concerto of all time complements a recent work by 2022-23 Seattle Symphony Artist-in-Residence, and YSO Principal Clarinetist,Angelique Poteat. The program concludes with the first work by an African-American woman to be performed by a major U.S. orchestra, Florence Price’s Symphony No. 1 from the early 1930s.
