The members of France’s Modigliani Quartet are artistic heirs to legendary cellist Mstislav Rostropovich, having been named co-directors of the Evian Festival he oversaw. Not yet two decades old, the Modigliani Quartet has won prizes and hearts with captivating artistry. Reinvigorating traditional chamber music, “There’s a bright, youthful spark to the Modigliani Quartet’s playing” (Guardian, UK).
