Schumann Piano Concerto

The Grant Park Orchestra welcomes one of the greatest pianists of our time, Garrick Ohlsson, for Schumann's exuberant and irresistible Piano Concerto. Carlos Kalmar conducts the stormy Symphony No. 6 by Prokofiev and Apu by the Northern California-native Gabriela Lena Frank, who brings her own multicultural heritage (American, Lithuanian, Jewish, Peruvian and Chinese) into captivating musical expressions.
