Mischievous fairies, enchanted forests, young love, and the night—William Shakespeare's irresistable comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream comes to life when Carlos Kalmar brings the Grant Park Orchestra indoors to the Harris Theater for a more intimate concert setting. The program also explores Shakespeare's psychological thriller Hamlet in the hands of Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich.
