Beethoven Violin Concerto

The Festival welcomes two acclaimed guest artists. The young Canadian conductor Jordan de Souza, who is wowing audiences across Europe and around the United States, conducts the sassy Overture to Candide by Leonard Bernstein and the Afro-American Symphony by William Grant Still. Also, the fiery virtuoso Stefan Jackiw joins the Grant Park Orchestra for the monumental Violin Concerto by Beethoven.
