Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra

Immerse yourself in the exquisite world of chamber music with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, presenting a captivating Chamber Concert series. This musical journey unfolds over two enchanting evenings, starting on Saturday, 23rd March 2024, at 8:00 pm in the historic Max Joseph Saal of the Munich Residence, followed by a Sunday performance on 24th March 2024, at 6:00 pm at the serene Tutzing, Evangelische Akademie.

The program promises an auditory feast, featuring a selection of masterpieces that span the breadth of chamber music. The evening begins with Ludwig van Beethoven's Trio für zwei Oboen und Englisch Horn C-Dur, op.87, followed by Francis Poulenc's Sonate pour deux clarinettes, FP 7, and Sándor Veress's Sonatina für Oboe, Klarinette und Fagott 1931. After an interval, the concert resumes with Carl Reinecke's Sonate e-moll Undine für Fl. u. Klav., op.167, Camille Saint-Saëns's Caprice sur des Airs Danois et Russes für Flöte, Oboe, Klarinette und Klavier, op. 79, and concludes with Francis Poulenc's Trio für Oboe, Fagott und Klavier.

The performances will showcase the talents of renowned musicians, including Ivanna Ternay on flute, Stefan Schilli and Melanie Jessica Rothman on oboe, Tobias Vogelmann on English horn, Christopher Patrick Corbett and Heinrich Treydte on clarinet, Jesús Villa Ordóñez on bassoon, and Lukas Maria Kuen on piano. Please note, due to illness in the ensemble, the program and participants have undergone changes.
