A Palm Sunday program featuring French Baroque master François Couperin's exquisite and expressive Leçons de Ténèbres, based on texts from the Lamentations of Jeremiah and intended to be sung during Holy Week. Also on the program are Chriara Margarita Cozzolani's duet O Dulcis Jesu, and two solo vocal works by Henry Purcell: the dramatic Blessed Virgin's Expostulation and poignant Evening Hymn.
