Our festive and contemplative holiday concert will feature music from the age of the golden queens, Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Elizabeth II. They both reigned during a flourish of musical creativity. Our concert celebrates the music of these golden ages, featuring music of select composers from both reigns. Among the several composers of the first Elizabethan age presented, the music of William Byrd (ca. 1540–1623) and Thomas Weelkes (1576–1623)...
