More details
By candlelight and incense, we mark the 400th anniversary of the death of William Byrd, one of the finest composers of the Renaissance. As a Catholic composer writing for a Protestant Queen, Byrd’s music tip-toes the line between submission and defiance. Join us for an evening of meditative chant and soaring polyphony as we explore our own hidden emotions and intentions.
