Dalia Stasevska lead the Orchestra in a sensational program of orchestral masterpieces. Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra has become a fixture of the repertoire and serves as a showcase for the Fabulous Philadelphians. The work has a local connection having been composed in 1943 in Saranac Lake, NY. The evening closes with Dvořák’s joyous and triumphant Symphony No. 8, which has not been performed at SPAC in over a decade.
