Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Festival of Voices, conducted by the renowned Marin Alsop, at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 7:30 pm. This special event celebrates the rich contributions of 18th-21st century British composers to choral symphonic music, featuring an exhilarating program that includes the U.S. premiere of Roxanna Panufnik’s Coronation Sanctus and culminates in the mesmerizing Belshazzar’s Feast by William Walton.

Under the baton of musical titan Marin Alsop, the Choral Arts Chorus and Orchestra will unite to deliver a performance filled with lyrical sounds and majestic fanfare. The program also highlights works by George Frideric Handel, Benjamin Britten, and William Walton, promising an evening of spectacular revelry.

Featured artists include Marin Alsop as conductor, Anthony Blake Clark as conductor and chorus master, the Symphonic Chorus, the Choral Arts Orchestra, and Ryan McKinny, bass-baritone. The performance will last approximately 90 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission.
