This early-summer edition promises an enthralling showcase of piano-centered live music, offering a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the vast world of piano compositions. Set in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, this event is perfect for everyone, from avid piano music lovers to those just looking to enjoy a captivating late-afternoon of live performances.

This year's lineup features the incredibly talented piano-based singer-songwriter Hohnen Ford, known for her unique and timeless approach to songwriting, influenced by the Great American Songbook and artists like Joni Mitchell. London-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and improviser Jessica Roch will also grace the stage, bringing her eclectic mix of ambient/electronic music, modern classical minimalism, jazz, and experimental/folk touches. Completing the lineup is Nightports, a collective of Northern-based improvising musicians, who will be joined by Matthew Bourne to premiere new music from their forthcoming album on Leaf Label.

The event is curated by Simeon Walker, who invites you to join in the celebration of good music, good people, and good times around the piano. The Brudenell Piano Sessions is a Pay What You Can event, ensuring it is accessible to all. While entry is free, we recommend reserving your tickets via the booking link to avoid disappointment. Monetary donations and contributions can be made on the day or at any point before, during, and after the event, with all takings equally split between the artists and reinvested in the event.

Presented in partnership with Brudenell Social Club, the event will take place at the Howard Assembly Room, a hub for music, performance, and ideas in the heart of Leeds.
