From 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, immerse yourself in Tchaikovsky's full masterpiece, celebrated for its grand finale complete with cannon shots. This event not only showcases the 1812 Overture but also features a special performance by Principal Oboist Rebecca McGuire, interpreting Eric Ewazen’s concerto "Down a River of Time," dedicated to the memory of Dr. Stephen Gage. Additionally, the orchestra will perform Richard Strauss’ renowned tone poems, "Don Juan" and "Death & Transfiguration."
