Join the North Valley Symphony Orchestra (NVSO) for an exhilarating evening as we conclude our season with "Victors and Heroes" on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This captivating concert will be held at the North Canyon High School Auditorium, located at 1700 East Union Hills Drive, Phoenix, AZ, 85024.

"Victors and Heroes" is a tribute to the spirit of sportsmanship, human triumph, and the iconic heroes that grace the big screen and our lives. Audiences can expect a stirring selection of music from beloved films and themes, including the inspiring melodies of "Chariots of Fire," the adventurous scores of "Apollo 13," the nostalgic tunes of "Field of Dreams," the heroic anthems of "The Avengers," and many more. This concert promises to be a memorable celebration of the victories and valor that inspire us all.

In addition to the musical festivities, NVSO is honored to support Youth for Troops during the "Victors and Heroes" concert. Youth for Troops is a commendable organization dedicated to fostering patriotism among the youth and across generations through volunteer work, advocacy, and education on behalf of military and veterans. Their initiatives include preparing and shipping care packages to deployed troops and crafting mats for homeless veterans from recycled plastic grocery bags.

We invite our concertgoers to join us in this noble cause by stopping by the Youth for Troops table in the lobby. There, you can learn more about their mission, sign thank you notes for our troops, and donate items to support their efforts. Suggested donation items include plastic grocery bags, travel-sized toiletries, decks of cards/travel-sized games, puzzle books, individual serving peanut butter, small cookie and cracker packages, beef jerky/tins of canned meats, candy/gum, and take-out condiment and plasticware packets.
