Join us for an enchanting evening of flute music with the acclaimed flutist Erin Lesser on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 7:30pm CDT. This performance, praised for its "spellbindingly beautiful" (Time Out New York) and "fresh and engaging" (New York Times) qualities, will take place in the intimate setting of the McClintock Choral and Recital Room, located within the Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Center for the Musical Arts at 70 Arts Circle Drive, Evanston, IL 60208.

Erin Lesser, a distinguished member of the Wet Ink Ensemble and Alarm Will Sound, as well as a founding member of the Argento Chamber Ensemble, has collaborated with renowned composers such as Steve Reich, Marcos Balter, and David Lang, among others. Her performance will showcase new works for flute by talented composition students Megan DiGeorgio, Benjamin Penwell, Gen Tanaka, and Konstantinos Baras, promising an evening of innovative and captivating music.

This event is free and open to the public, offering a unique opportunity to experience the work of emerging composers performed by a master flutist.
