This recital, part of his academic journey, showcases his skills under the tutelage of esteemed faculty members Michael Mulcahy, Randall Hawes, Reed Capshaw, and R. Douglas Wright. Accompanied by Zachary Hommel and Parisa Tofigh on trumpet, Gwen Boros on horn, Lola Stevenson on bass trombone, and Yoko Yamada-Selvaggio on piano, Tim George will present a captivating program. The repertoire includes Leopold Mozart's Concerto for Alto Trombone, Joseph Jongen's Aria et polonaise, Op. 128, Sergei Rachmaninoff's Sleep, Op. 38, No. 5, Launy Grondahl's Concerto for Trombone, and Leonard Bernstein's Maria from West Side Story, arranged by Jack Gale.
