Join us for an enchanting evening of music as Ami Hatori takes the stage for a piano recital on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 8:30pm CDT. This performance, held in the intimate setting of the McClintock Choral and Recital Room, showcases the talents of a Master of Music student under the tutelage of Christopher Guzman. 

The evening's program promises a journey through the romantic and evocative landscapes of classical music, featuring Ludwig van Beethoven's "An die ferne Geliebte," Op. 98, Gabriel Fauré's "L’horizon chimérique," Op. 118, selections from Gerald Finzi's "Let Us Garlands Bring," Op. 18, and Sergei Prokofiev's Violin Sonata No. 2 in D Major, Op. 94a. Special guest performers include Wesley Diener, baritone, and Suwon Kim, violin, adding depth and variety to the recital.

This event is free and open to the public, with no tickets required. For those unable to attend in person, a live stream will be available, ensuring no one misses this captivating performance. 

The recital takes place in the David and Carol McClintock Choral and Recital Room, located at 70 Arts Circle Drive, Evanston, IL 60208, within the Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Center for the Musical Arts. This venue, seating 120 guests, offers a flexible space perfect for the rich sounds of choral rehearsals, small ensemble performances, and student recitals.
