World Renown Percussionist and Composer Andy Narell joins SOMISPO (the Southern Mississippi Steel Pan Orchestra) for a fabulous program of Calypso and Soca music, a type of music that originated in the mid-19th century featuring African rhythms, multi-language lyrics, and traditional melodies and vocal harmonies.
