Bass vocalist Andrew Munn, acclaimed for his sonorous voice and sensitive phrasing by the Huffington Post, will collaborate with Bienen School piano professor Christopher Guzman to bring to life Schubert’s iconic song cycle. "Winterreise" is a profound exploration of the human soul, setting twenty-four poems by Wilhem Müller to music. This masterpiece, along with "Die schöne Müllerin," cements Schubert’s legacy as a master of 19th-century lieder, offering a somber and introspective journey of a lone traveler in the cold.
