Based on Mo Willems’ beloved children’s book, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! is a lively, laugh-filled adventure for audiences of all ages. When the Bus Driver takes a break, the persistent and ever-hopeful Pigeon dreams of finally getting the chance to take the wheel. With energetic performances, colorful characters, and plenty of audience interaction, this playful production brings Willems’ iconic story to life onstage. Families are invited to join the fun as the Pigeon tries every trick imaginable to convince everyone to hand over the keys.

Choreography II students have been excavating, experimenting, improvising, and building movement studies together and individually throughout this year. We have been using tools to manipulate small moments into bigger more developed movement ideas. Looking back at our memories for inspiration for our movement studies, we have found a way to tell our stories through our own language of movement. Letting go of expectations and judgements, students have the opportunity to truly investigate their own individual voice and movement vocabulary.
