The concert will feature Ludwig van Beethoven's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1 in C major, Op. 15, followed by Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 73. These masterpieces promise to deliver an evening of musical brilliance and emotional depth.

Unfortunately, Martha Argerich has had to cancel her appearances due to health reasons. We extend our best wishes for her speedy recovery. In her stead, Igor Levit will grace the stage, performing the solo part in Beethoven's First Piano Concerto, ensuring the concert remains a highlight of the Lucerne Festival's summer tour.
