Keith Fiddmont and Jeremiah Selvey, Co-Directors. Using excerpts from Duke Ellington’s three Sacred Concert settings as the centerpiece — and accompanied by showcase performances from each of the ensembles — the SMC Music Department presents a collaboration among two conductors, four music ensembles, and guest soloists in a performance that celebrates the merging of music from the jazz club with the profundity of sacred ideals.
