Immerse yourself in an enchanting evening of music and drama at The Ebell of Los Angeles with "Live in the Lounge: A Musical Performance of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night." Scheduled for Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 7:00 pm, this event promises a unique blend of live jazz and a lively staged reading of Shakespeare’s comedic masterpiece, Twelfth Night, in celebration of the Bard’s 460th birthday.

Featuring the melodious compositions of John Allee, attendees will experience the toe-tapping tunes of live jazz that perfectly harmonize with the twists and turns of Twelfth Night. The play, known for its themes of love, confusion, mistaken identities, and joyful discovery, follows the story of Viola, who, separated from her twin Sebastian, disguises herself as a boy and becomes entangled in a complex web of love and mistaken identity.
