Join us for an unforgettable evening under the stars at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center with the "Country Hits: Songs from Nashville" event, part of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra’s Talcott Mountain Music Festival. This special concert is scheduled for Friday, July 26, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at 22 Iron Horse Boulevard, Simsbury, CT, 06070, United States.

"Country Hits: Songs from Nashville" promises a spectacular celebration of Country music, featuring timeless classics and contemporary hits. Experience the heart and soul of Country music with symphonic arrangements of songs from legends like Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash, as well as today's stars including Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, The Chicks, and Kacey Musgraves. The evening will showcase the talents of Nashville’s bright young vocal stars Grace Leer and Rick Brantley, accompanied by four of Nashville’s top instrumentalists, all under the baton of Grammy-winner Jeff Tyzik.

Gates open at 6:00 PM, with the concert beginning at 7:30 PM. In case of rain, a make-up date is set for Saturday, July 27th. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating. Picnics are welcome, though hard liquor is not permitted. On-site beverage/bar service and food concessions will be available for purchase. 

Tickets go on sale on April 29th. They can be purchased through the Hartford Symphony Orchestra website, over the phone, or in person at the Bushnell Box Office. Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. A limited number of parking passes, including handicapped-accessible options, are available for purchase in advance. Free parking and shuttle service from Henry James Memorial Middle School are also available.
