Join us for a vibrant Juneteenth Celebration with the Boston Landmarks Orchestra at The Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Center, located at 650 Dudley Street, Boston, MA 02125. This special event takes place on Saturday, June 17, starting at 4:00pm and concluding around 5:30pm. 

This year's celebration promises an unforgettable experience under the baton of conductor Christopher Wilkins, featuring performances by soprano Sirgourney Cook, violinist Mariana Green-Hill, and narrator Ade Solanke. The concert will showcase a rich program including Scott Joplin's "Treemonisha Overture" orchestrated by David Kempers, the first movement "Allegro" from Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges' Violin Concerto in G, Op. 2 No. 1, and William Grant Still's "Mother and Child" and "Still Spirituals: A Medley". Additionally, the audience will be treated to Nkeiru Okoye's "Phillis Wheatley: A Musical Journey", Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson's "Sinfonietta No. 1: Allegro furioso", and the finale from Joplin's "Treemonisha: A Real Slow Drag", marking a world premiere.
