The MSU Wind Symphony shares the stage with the St. Olaf Band, a prestigious symphonic band established in 1891 from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. The MSU Wind Symphony is conducted by Kevin L. Sedatole and the St. Olaf Band is conducted by MSU Alumnus Henry Dorn.
