In an evening custom built for Valentine’s Day, world renowned pianist Anastaysia Poff, wife of IPO’s esteemed Gibb Music Director Stilian Kirov, takes center stage to lead this romantically tinged program. The performance will include Fanny Mendelssohn’s Overture in C major along with Clara Schumann’s Piano Concerto and her husband Richard Schumann’s Symphony No. 4.

IPO Principal clarinetist Trevor O’Riordan steps into the spotlight for this clarinet fueled performance. The evening begins with a culmination of IPO’s previous seasons’ Classical Evolve and Earshot emerging composer initiatives, then moves on to two of the classical world’s most famous composers—Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Schubert.
