This recital will feature pianist Nanette Kaplan Solomon performing solo piano music by Nikolai Lopatnikoff (1903-1976), who was an internationally known Neoclassical composer and beloved composition professor at CMU (then Carnegie Tech) from 1945-1969, and solo and four-hand piano music by Nancy Galbraith, current long-time distinguished Professor of Composition at CMU.
