Cameron Harper is an active clarinetist and private teacher in the Pittsburgh area, currently completing graduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University. Recent performances include Copland’s Symphony No. 3, Brahms’s Symphony No. 1, and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5 with the CMU Philharmonic, and he can be heard on BCM&D Records recordings of the Temple University Wind Symphony. While in Philadelphia, Cameron studied clarinet repair with renowned clarinet technician Mark Jacobi and served as music librarian for the Boyer College of Music & Dance and the Temple University Repertory Orchestra. He recently completed the Musical Entrepreneurship & Leadership Development program with New Groove Music Studio and has given presentations about the clarinet to schools across the Greater Pittsburgh area.
