Immerse yourself in the enchanting melodies of the forest with the Pacific Repertory Theater's "Music in the Forest" event, a captivating concert series set in the heart of downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea at the Outdoor Forest Theater. This year, the event spans two days, July 15 & 16, 2023, offering a unique blend of musical talent amidst the natural beauty of the forest.

On Saturday, July 15, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, experience the soul-stirring music of award-winning singer/songwriter Cindy Alexander as she celebrates the release of her latest CD, "Messy." Sharing the stage with Cindy is Rusty Anderson, renowned for his 22 years as the lead guitarist for Paul McCartney, now touring with his own band for the first time in four years. 

The musical journey continues on Sunday, July 16, from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, featuring Parthenon Huxley, a member of the Orchestra, which includes four former members of ELO. The day's lineup also includes performances by local acts The Whiskey Wasps and Katherine Lavin, promising a day filled with diverse musical talents.

Tickets are priced at $32 for Saturday (ticket fees and city service charges included) and $27 for Sunday, making it an accessible event for all to enjoy the magic of live music in an unparalleled setting. 

For a seamless experience, attendees are encouraged to arrive early as seating begins ninety minutes prior to showtime, with limited parking and no reserved seating. Guests are welcome to bring food and drink, including alcohol, to enjoy from their seats, with concessions also available for purchase. Please note, only licensed service animals are permitted in the venue.
