Join us for an unforgettable evening of classical music as the Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra presents Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at the historic Hawaii Theatre. From 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, immerse yourself in the majestic sounds of one of the greatest symphonies ever composed, alongside a rich program that showcases the diverse talents of HSO's musicians and guest artists.

This concert features a sumptuous menu of symphonic works, starting with the sonic flavors of India and East Asia in Alan Hovhaness' Symphony No. 15, "Silver Pilgrimage," followed by the world premiere of local composer Jon Magnussen's "Kau Mea Nui Progressions." Experience the intimate beauty of Brahms' "Two Songs" for Voice, Viola, and Strings, featuring HSO's principal violist Mark Butin and baritone Leon Williams. The program also includes Kurt Schwertsik's bite-size "Shrunken Symphony," leading up to the evening's highlight, Mozart's critically acclaimed Jupiter Symphony.

Conductor Dane Lam will lead this melodious banquet, promising an evening filled with breathtaking performances. For an enhanced experience, ticket holders are invited to join a special pre-concert talk in the auditorium at 3:00 PM.
